ORDER Class Attire

 Creative Movement

· Designated class leotard/ dress

· Pink footed/transitional tights (non shiny tights, please no panty hose)

· Pink leather ballet slippers with a single elastic

· Mid-length to long hair pulled back from face.  Short hair fastened away from face. Or try for a ballerina bun.

· Remove jewelry, watches, wrist/ ankle bands. Remove pony tail bands or hair ties worn on wrist.  Simple earrings are great.

Pre-Ballet  

· Designated class leotard/ dress

· Pink footed/transitional tights (non shiny tights, please no panty hose)

· Pink leather ballet slippers with a single elastic

· Hair secure in a ballet bun is promoted. Or Mid-length to long hair pulled back from face.  Short hair fastened away from face. 

· Remove jewelry, watches, wrist/ ankle bands. Remove pony tail bands or hair ties worn on wrist.  Simple earrings are great.

Ballet 1-3

· Designated class color leotard/ dress

· Pink seamed mesh transition tights (non shiny tights & no panty hose)

· Pink leather ballet slippers with a single elastic

· Mid-length to long hair pulled back into a bun and fastened securely using pins and a hair net. Short hair fastened away from face. 

· Remove jewelry, watches, wrist/ ankle bands. Remove pony tail bands or hair ties worn on wrist.  Simple earrings are great.

Ballet 4-8 

· Designated class color and brand leotard

· Pink seamed mesh transition tights (no shiny tights, no holes in tights, no panty hose, no children's leggings/ stockings

· Pink canvas ballet slippers

· Pointes shoes (style is determined by Ballet Mistress, please see Ms Melinda if you think you need a change of shoe) ONLY for dancers designated to train en pointe (Ballet Mistress will let you know when you are ready)

· Hair is required to be pulled back into a neat bun and fastened securely using pins and a hair net (water, hair spray, gel – the works). Students must be responsible for the necessary supplies to have hair done before class time.

· Remove jewelry, watches, wrist/ ankle bands. Remove pony tail bands or hair ties worn on wrist.  Simple earrings are great.

· Pointe/Variations/ Partnering: Designated class attire, Pointe shoes for ladies, Pointe skirt for ladies (Ballet 6-8)

Age 10 & Younger 

· White snug fitting shirt or short sleeved white leotard

· Mid-thigh black shorts or black tights

· White crew length sock

· Black leather ballet shoes.

Age 11 & Older

· White snug fitting shirt or short sleeved white leotard

· Black footed tights

· White crew length sock

· Black leather ballet shoes.

· Company dancers - white/black/grey fitted leotard/ snug fitted crew neck t-shirt with black/ grey tights & black canvas ballet shoes. 

Tap & Jazz

Ballet class attire or dance pant/leggings with fitted top. Tap & Jazz shoes are suggested.

Acting/Musical Theatre

Ballet class attire or dance pant/leggings with fitted top

Character shoes are suggested

Modern Female Attire 

Ballet class leotard or dance pant/legging with fitted top

Bare feet

Modern Male Attire 

Ballet class attire or fitted shirt with ankle length tights or leggings.

Bare feet

Hip Hop Female Attire

Ballet class leotard or ankle length dance pant/legging with fitted top

athletic shoes/ sneakers

Hip Hop Male Attire

Ballet class attire or fitted shirt with ankle length tights or leggings.

Progressive Ballet Technique/ Pilates/ Yoga/ Body Conditioning 

Class attire or fitted shirt with ankle length tights or leggings.

Hair in pony tail or comfortable style.

Balls, Pilates/ yoga mats and tension bands will be used. Studio supply of mats are available or students are welcome to bring their own. Please label your personal items. Dancers are welcome to store these at the studio.
